Wine & Glass

I took a really fun Robert Burridge workshop a few years ago in Burbank, CA and recently dug up these paintings so I thought I should post them for the sake of posting since I don't seem to put much up here. Plus, I love Robert Burridge. He's got such a fun personality and is a wonderful American contemporary Artist. I remember he said to me "Tina, you can paint!". It forever changed my life and I can't tell you how much that meant to me especially since it was said by such a talented and respected painter. (shoulder pat/smile)

Paintings of Mom

These are a couple of paintings I painted for my Mom currently hanging in my Mother's house. They're both of my Mom the Queen with red hair! My Mom had long, wavy, strawberry-blonde hair as a young girl and has a big heart, thus the subjust matter; and I think possibly a big iron sword under her skirt, but I digress. Both of these paintings actually have alot of texture in them. The queen painting has sparkly jewels encrusted in her crown, and little three dimensional diamond shape textures all around the thrown which you can't see in this photo. (Note to self: take close-ups of detail.) It just happened that the two paintings have striped backgrounds.

Inspiration Videos

These videos are so artistically inspirational. I borrowed them from one of my favorite painters blogs. :D
